Japanese Paper Dolls

This craft reminded me of my uni days, where I made the Japanese paper dolls with Damien, Shian Jan, Kok Tiong for some school fun-fare. Sweet memories .. ^^..

Hope to keep in-touch with them...
Anyway, gotten the materials from Takayama last year, but did not made them until a year later

Mini Chairs Ear-rings

I first saw mini chairs earring in KL airport, where a sales girl was wearing them. I was fascinated, and asked where she bought it. She mentioned someplace which I ave never heard of.

On my next few trips to KL, I would visit that shop to see if that sales girl was there. Of course that was stupid as I don't even remember her face. I was only searching for the girl with THAT ear-rinmg.

Then, I make an effort to look for this ear-ring everytime I window shopped back home. And guess WHAT!! I found it in SEOUL!! Yeah!! You have no idea how happy I was and am!!

Mother's Day Greetings from my Darlings

Mother's day greetings from my 2 beloved daughters during their pre-school days.

East Meet West

East meet West.... what's next?
I realised that I like making chairs....hmm..

2nd Very Own Miniature

Here is my 2nd frame miniature - oriental style. The mirror is from my broken lip-stick box, the chest and chair are from 飞机木。 I was too anxious to complete it, and did not bother to sand-paper the chair and chest. That's why they looked rather rough.

My Son's Toy

I made this paper petrol kiosk for my son using drawing paper while he was playing with his toy car and lego.

School Project

My daughter's school project - combining Art and Science (electrical wiring).

Copy Cat !

I fell in love with Romero Britto's paintings after seeing them in Takashimaya art gallery.
Take a look here : http://www.britto.com/ for more of his art works.

More European DIY Sets

I built the Wedding Shop 1st, followed by the Coffee Shop, then the Boat Shop, and finally the Disc Shop.
I still have 2 more to go. Instead, I created 2 frames miniature - the Pinky dressing table, and the oriental display.

I

My Country Home by Evangelione

After admiring Evangelione's blog, I can't help but to buy one dollhouse from her.
You should take a look at her blog :
http://www.evangelione.blogspot.com/
She is really amazing. Her craftworks are very delicate and professional.

European DIY Sets

Bought these European sets all at one go and completed 4 of them :

More to come....

I AM BACK!!

Hello, after removing the Happy Family blog, I am back with just my crafts.

Hope to get to know more crafters out there who share the same passion.

This is the very FIRST miniature that is 100% created by me. The dressing table is made of toilet paper rolls, tooth picks, few strands of black crafting paper and a reflective paper from my cosmetic box for the mirror. The chair is tougher. This is the 2nd piece. The first was out of proportion.
